Safety

At Concurrent, we know that our employees are our most important asset. Protecting our workforce and the environment is of paramount importance to us. Safety is the primary consideration with each task we perform.

Our well-documented Safety Program provides on-going training to ensure all work is performed in the safest manner possible consistent with good construction practices. Safety training begins in new-employee orientation and continues throughout employment.

  • All Concurrent employees attend a new employee safety orientation to safe-work procedures for all tasks relevant to their work assignments.
  • All Concurrent supervisory employees will have completed, at minimum; Concurrent New Employee Orientation, OSHA 30-hour course and Pole-Top and Bucket Truck Rescue training.
  • All field employees will have completed, at minimum; New Employee Orientation and OSHA 10-hour training for Power Line Construction.
  • Additionally, at least two employees per crew have up‐to‐date First Aid/CPR training.

Considering the nature of our business, safety cannot be simply a pre-work meeting or a site safety analysis, it must be a fundamental principle woven into the fabric of everything we do.
